they look rather large and rectangular. How do they fly?

Not well but they're easy to get to the field.

my Yak kit showed up today. Spent some time going through the contents of the boxes and all I can say is "Wow!". This is my 3rd Carden kit and I continue to be blown away by the attention to detail and quality of everything included. This thing is gonna be awesome!!

I don't plan on starting the build any time soon....but when I do, I'll post some pics. Can't wait!!

gonn for good / jmiracle,

your thoughts on the above 5" 8-spoke Robart Wheels on the 32% YAK ? I believe the spec calls for 4 1/2" wheels, the 5" look more scale to me?

I would just go with what you think looks best on the plane. IMO, the Carden Yak is one of the least SCALE yaks out there...but it has some of the cleanest lines. I love the look, but it's definitely not scale.

Has anyone seen a completed 32% Yak or even pictures of one?
I only know of the one prototyep that's been flying but I haven't seen any pictures of it.

I have some pictures of the prototype from the Toledo Show this year....I'll see if I can't dig them up.

<<edit>>....ok, this is the only one I have of the 32%. This one is a little small....but I know I have a larger version archived at home. I'll try to remember to dig it up tonight when I get home.

thanks, Yes I did see that one. I had forgotten they had Dick Held's 32% at Toledo and after you posted that picture I remembered seeing it from Carden's pics of the Toledo show.
thanks
