Thanks guys! Will definitly keep you guys posted.. got a lot of hop-ups on the ways.. not all out, but you know, just stuff that makes sense to me.. so hopefully it will be a cool new project!

I am putting the Sphere / Neo on this one for now.. (while the Mamba Max is still on order..) Yeah, have to sideline the 'Box for awhile.. I hope I can use more of the power on the buggy as you just keep on flipping the 'Box with the Neo.. so hopefully this will be a better "fit"..

Here's a pic of the rear tranny.. (can't see the diff as it is built-up already) For the racers among you, yes yes, I do use A LOT of grease.. and I do know that they create drag, BUT, I want the tranny to last and trouble free.. I don't plan on opening it up often, so I will just have to trade some efficieny with some reliability / durability!

Is Tamiya quality slipping?! Take a look at the gap!!

Nah, we all know what it means => Opportunity to sell hop-ups for the brace... (geez...)

Yeah, I ordered the CF brace for the front already.. don't see anyone selling the rear one yet.. so I will wait for that........

Another future hop-up, I am sure... Tamiya is going to release some kind of blue aluminum steering crank / linkage.. just like for their other kits..

In the mean time, I put ballbearings on.. should be good to go for now!

Also used Dremel to take some material off the top steering arm to clear the center drive cup..

Looking like a DI yet?!

Not sure how much more I can do waiting for those parts to come in.. (don't want to take stuff apart when the parts come in..) But maybe I will build up the shocks (even though I got the aluminum ones coming in..) anyway.. maybe put them on my TLT.. :P

How Do you get the Battery out?

I mean the Chassis looks like it Uses TL-01 Gears and Spurs but the Battery Holder is unique..

I just got a TL-01 Offroader so Your Thread will be Very Helpful

It is a bottom loader... you put the battery in from the bottom and cover it up with a door.. then put a pin through it to secure it.. I can take a pic of it later tonight if you'd like.. let me know!

Good luck with your TL-01!
