its pretty opionated but the savage can smack metal doors or dumpsters with little or no damage. YOu will break a little more with the revo. I think the savage is a better choice because you get to joinn the savage brothahood, they have brute power and an awesome noise that a revo can not touch. I have never broken my X in over 3 months and i was at a track with big jumps and my skate board ramp. i also ran into my mail box at full speed with nothin broke. So dont listen to opions like these guys. I have seen revos run and whatched them beak at stuff that wouldnt scratch my savy.

Status: offline 		savage all the way my worst crash i have ever had is in my gallery and i have had the thing for almost a year, you probably think im a soft basher but i really only race and hit huge jumps on the power line but what do i know i have had the revo once then i sold it on ebay and got a savage 25 and the thing is awsome,,, 5 1/2 gallons through and still hitting 45 and the beat

but my opinon is to get the revo and if u still can decide ask ur lhs he will tell u every thing about the truck..

Status: offline 		hte idea that a savage is any stronger thna a revo is flase. A revo is a full bred racing micheen, it is verry hightec, and is the most advanced monstertruck ever. The savage is a verry simple desing and tha is why you brake less comin parts. And thats also why a savage handles like a dog and is slow. And if any one wants to drive to montana, i'll take a head on with any savage.

MY revo is curently down so i have not had a chance to race a savage X but its the same plat form as any savage and any stock revo could easily beat a savage in a drag race, on the track, in the mud, hill climbing, and rock crawling. Its time hpi throuws the savage in the garbidge can and makes something new for a change.

Status: offline 		yea the revo is made for racing and stuff but the savage is made for bashing and if you put in a 3-speed it will fly past a revo in a straight away race im not a revo hater or anything its just that i had better experiances with the savage

Status: offline 		What happens if you put a 3spd in a revo THe savage is a great truck if you are going to drive it infront of your house and in the back yard, the revo is better for anything extream.

5 speed and it still would not beat a stock revo. come on get real dread

Status: offline 		dude c'mon no need to lie this guy wants to know which truck is truly better.... the revo is better if bot are stock but witth a three speed in the savage the revo would be struggeling to keep up

Status: offline 		Unless you want to constantly fix your broken truck, get a Savage. I had a Revo, and all I ever did was work on it. I gave it to my nephew because I was to embarassed to sell that junk to anyone. Since I got my savage, I spend alot more time driving than fixing. Plus, if you plan on racing and get a Revo you are wasting your time. You'd be lucky to finish a 5 min qualifier with a revo. Once in a while one will show up at the track and usually end up being carried off. Get a Savage or an LST2, everything else is just a toy.
