.... ....patience, Grasshopper.

As soon as I fix the front of my trusty 60 size F-20, I'll jump on the pusher. I guess
I'll have to make a balsa canopy and paint it....the old one is toast.

Alright you guys, if I knew you better I would cuss at you. You fellow addicts just cost me $141.03 and my Bobcat is on it's way. lol

On a more serious note, please help me. I have been looking at engines for this plane and I am interested in your advice guys.
Now, that said, I don't have the budget for a Rossi or anything very fancy, budget for the engine for this plane is around $100.

Here is what I have looked at, please tell me what you think or If you have another suggestion in the range weigh forth.
I have never owned a Magnum but I like the low weight of that .52 engine.

I have a couple of Magnum .52XLS engines and they are over bored .46s. They are not in the same power class as the .61s on your list. For the price, get the Tower .75, it's light, lighter than most .61s and has gobs of power. I think is's only $5 more than the .61. It ought to turn an 11-7 pusher pretty well.

Wow you are right the .75 is .8 ounces less than the tower .61. I wonder though, how hard it will be to balance this plane.

Well, for one thing, you have that nice long nose that will make any weight needed a lot smaller than if you had a radial engine scale plane.

Prop strike might me a bigger problem. I see they use a 3-blade, but I have flown a bunch of pushers and I don't recall a 3-blade pusher. Maybe there is one. You might need a slightly longer gear, but I'd still go with the Tower .75. High power is much more fun than low power.

I see that Hobby Lobby carries a Grauner 11-8 pusher. I have used that one and it works great.

Can you believe this guy? Throw a MDS in it . Seriously here, I would consider around a .60 at least but then again when you consider a 60, you may as well go .90. If I get one, I will install a ST G90. (Really). Ask Flyboy Dave after he gets his and takes a look at it.

I just Order a yellow one myself $ 150.53 . But I want to put a DF motor in it . Like a OS.77 or .91 But I will start with a Jett .50XL or .60 XL And see how
it would hold up.

Until then Happy flying........

Thats probably not a bad idea. We'll have to see how all these play out. LIke to see how you run a pipe. However this thing is screaming for retracts, gotta have em.

I can see there are a number of things that might be needed, if you want this
plane to go fast.
