Ok, now that there are a few of these being built.... is there any evidence that the plane is (or was) capable of dealing with retracts ?

Would a Master Airscrew prop. work ok on here?

I was thinking McCoy-19 and a 7x5 MA?

Cheers!

Id use the regular muffler...

Is the wing structure/fuselage joint condusive to running an exhaust tube from the muffler out thru the bottom of the plane ?

Hey guys, just a heads up. It appears the CG is stated wrong in the plans. It is closer to 9 inches, not 6.9 as stated. View the other thread on this

Cool thread....

MarkF- 9x6 @ 30K you are the Electric Superman! I seriously hope we get a couple of these at the Revvers next month! One E flight one Glow? (It is worth noting that while Mark F is an electric guy, his stuff is ridiculously fast--- I think his tool box is faster than my Whip)

Mods R Me is building a version of this and he has got SERIOUS GAME! He seems to be building on another level in my opinion...

Super-Dave: You gonna have this Delta-Cat thing ready for next month?

cheers!

I am asking because you guys are the speed plane experts.....

How do you think a Tower .75 will work in this plane?

Any chance the mounting holes will match up?

tower 75 will do fine, you have to drill your own mounting holes thru the riser bocks and the fuse. The wood riser blocks supplied, under the engine are too soft, mine are starting to fail. Tomorrow I will make an Aluminum support after work.
