I am new to R/C Copters and am thinking of making a Voyager Electric my first helicopter which would allow my to fly at my local school yard.
I am concerned with stock flight times, and want to know what all I can do to make it more efficient, eg., best brushless motor, controller, lighter and best batteries. Are lithium batteries an option here. Appreciate any thoughts or experience you might have.

Greetings,

I am also new to helis, and I bought a built Voyager E.
Mine came with the new Astro Flight 020 system in it. Most seem to use a Hacker system.

If you have the dough, brushless is better. I also have a Corona kit, a great beginners heli. It is fixed pitch though, but very tough and forgiving.

I will more than likely finish seting up the Voyager to learn on, I have been using a Sim up to this point.

There are some other groups that are a little more active with E helis. The Ezone and Yahoo groups.

Jared
