That is great flying. Parts of it look like from a simulator ;-)

Did u have to do anything spl to get to 15.6 lbs (like CF stuff etc)? Also where is your CG at & what size spinner is recommended for this plane/cowl?

Is there an easy way to check the cg at the wing tips? Will I need to get my wife involved in my build

Well I finally finished my new Wild Hare. Here are a few pictures of the final product with just a few graphics. I also have a complete set of lighter carbon gear, wheels and axles which I will use after I get a few flights under my belt. I really like the way the Esprit glass spinner looks when painted black to match the trim of this plane. That and the fact that it is about 3 onces and $50 cheaper than the competition (thanks Silver Surfer). Flight testing will follow as soon as I can get some windshied wippers or dry weather. PS -- Did you notice the Bunny Prop -- I think it needs a graphic also!

The new Hangar9 Pulse XT comes with nice 1/4-20 nylon thumb bolts, I bought some replacements at my LHS for $1.50. The other thing you can do is take a normal 1/4-20 nylon bolt and make a themb screw out of it by glueing a piece of balsa into the screw groove. Make sense??

Arvind, If you will just go by the instructions for mounting the motor as shown in the instructions you will get it perfect and it is very easy.

Look here for where to put your motor to start.

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/fb.asp?m=4891268

These are the centers of the holes on my New 84" Extra, but be sure to follow through with the cowl alignment before you drill anything. Putting the engine in the right spot to begin with will make your cowl trimming and fitting go much faster!

Good luck!

Edit: the link would be nice...

Ben thats my plan. Im some where near number 5 on the list if the 55 ever comes out. Plus this arf is begging for the bme 55 since the batts have to be put way back to balance with the da50.
