Any progress?
I'd sure hate to see this project get mothballed...

Mothballed? Never. Just taking some time to upgrade my manufacturing process. After the upgrade, I'll have two cnc machines: one for cutting metals and one for cutting wood. The metal cutting machine will be used for making the big wood cutting machine. The metal cutting machine is almost done and I'll be starting on the big wood cutting machine right after. Here's a link to my thread on CNCzone: CNC Thread.

Things will get busy pretty quick once the machines are done. Right now I have two planes that are cnc ready; the Modkat and a turbine trainer (haven't picked a name yet). Still working on a Piaggio P-180 and Beechcraft Starship. All four will be made from composites. Please be patient guys. It hurts me everyday not to be building, but once the upgrade is done it will be well worth it.

You should open it...it's a very good plane.

Good question. I'm still not sure what they need to do . I think it's CAD work, but I'm not sure. They still haven't called me yet.

Not yet. I'm still working on the cnc machine. I've also just moved (again), so that's taking up most of my time. Good new is that I now own a large 3 car garage that will never see a car.....
