That was a nice offer. That's the way to handle things like this...but the guy is upset, and does not want to give Nitromodels his money at all, so what can you do? I assume his rejection of your kind offer just came out wrong, doubt he meant any offense.

    Bob

I have ordered the little Bobcat. The Fed-Ex web site said it should be delivered tomorrow. I plan on putting a Wren 44 on it. I was wondering if there is enough room for a 32oz tank and if you can tell if it will be hard to adapt a turbine to it? It looks like I will have to cut into the back end to make it fit.

    Thanks.

    Hal

Bob, was not my intention to offend you. I really appreciated your kind offer. Still have your pm in my box just in case. ET may be my rejection to Bob was wrong, but as you said let me calm down a little. If I deal with Bob then I will buy it direct from him and not nitro.

Bob give me few days. I'm having training this weekend.

I never said your rejection of Bob's offer was WRONG, it's not "wrong", it's your CHOICE, and I understand it perfectly, no offense meant or taken.
I guess FedEx Ground is what they use for most, and that they don't do PR, or don't do it for the same cost. Remember, again, I'd be pretty certain the S&H charges are a good portion of their profit.

At any rate, can't wait to see what the kits look like when they show up, let's see some pics.

I guess with the OS91(that's a LOT of power for this, I'd say!) you'll be using a Byron pipe?

Hello every one i have ordered one of these little bobcats my self, it should be here on the 14th, as a few of you have stated it needs retracts, maby as soon as one of you receive your's you could please let us all know what the difficulty factor of installing retracts would be, i think this will be a great plane, it's flight ready at 5.5lb (very light) it should be fast "A"?

No E.T., no pipe, just stock muffler. It will be pusher. I'll see how it handles and if it is going to work with a small turbine. It looks almost as big to me as my BVM bobcats I have had in the past. You would have to modify the rear of the fus a bit for mounts and to clear the starter, but that is no big deal. Bob

I just received mine today. This is unbelievable!! The quality is outstanding. It is a perfect match for the Wren 44. It has a very strong fiberglass fuselage. Nothing needs to be done to the wings. I spent about 15 minutes opening up the back for the turbine. All I need is a couple of blocks to mount it.

Retracts will take a little work in the wings but not much. I am not going to put retracts on it right now. I should have it ready to fly by Sunday. Three of the guys here have seen it and two of them have ordered one on the spot. They are going to put .61 glow engines on them. I have a Savex L-39 with a Wren 44. This blows it away! It is larger and much better looking. It looks like a 2/3 scale Bobcat.

These are really going to go fast.
