OK, I want to power (with 6 volts) all of my digital servos, except on the throttle, on a 6 servo 3D model. Without starting a brand-loyalty war, what make and capacity battery should I be looking at. The servos will be putting out 125-180 ounces of torque. Can a NIMH battery put out enough amps to handle it all? How many flights could I expect with a 1950 mah or so battery? Thanks.

I have 2 1400 NIMH's in my Yak with 5 8611's and can get 8 12min flights with a little in reserve..make sure you get low impedence cells..You can get excellent packs from Radical RC and Hangtime Hobbies..

Thanks! What would a low-impedence rating be for Nimh cells (I'm electronicly handicapped!.......)

Here is some good info..easier for me to give the link than to explain..the lower the impedence the better..also when using dual rx packs..the rating will be cut in half..so im using 1400 packs each one with a 8 rating..by using dual packs the rating is cut to 4
