What is the correct way to get an ESV reading from Tx batteries?
I've tried reading them directly (removed from the Tx) and through the charging jack, the Tx turned on, with and without the antenna extended. I get three different readings; which is correct?

Thanks,
flian'

I'd suggest the most accurate method without introducing variables is direct coupled to the battery, mono-mono. Most modern TX's have a diode in the charge circuit which prevents an accurate reading with a voltmeter and the like. The purpose of the diode is to protect the battery and TX electronics from reversed polarity couplings.
