This is my Sherman.
Only just got it,needs work to make it look good.
By the way,it's not weathered,it's dusty.And it's not even my dust,it's how it came from ebay.

I think its a trik of the light, they are simply the usual etched ones , i got them from Asiata about $6.
Now I use proper micro mesh, it looks amazing. The kind of stuff sieves are made from, you can get it in sheet form.

It's perfect.

Not much more I can add to that except perfect paint, perfect weathering (not overdone), excellent crewmember detailing.
Instead of asking how you did it, I will revisit your construction thread.
