Has anyone here built and flewn one of these planes??Iam just about done and would like to hear from others that moght have flown one..what engine they might have used and what I might need to look out for..Should come out around 4.5 LBs and wing area of about 600sq in ..

My kit was a nightmare to build, you basically scratch build it. But it is definately worth it because it still ranks up there as one of my favorite planes.

I used a old ASP 46 running a APC 11x6 and a standard battery. I used a single servo with torque rods, since I don't like bellcranks, also I used the heavier Golden Rods for the tail. Other than that, I built it stock... (a rare occation)

This plane is not as twitchy as one would suspect with such a short wingspan and being such short coupled.

It is a complete ball to fly and any speed doing any manuver. I still have a kit and my old wings lying around, maybe I try to put it together before spring!
