Never raced and never drivin anything race class, but from what i've heard, these 2 kits are the BEST for racing. They have rtr versions also.

thanx for the reply IO should of been more pacific in my post. Im trying to find out the differences in the losi, team associated and duratrax bugy. When I raced duratrax was not into buggys. Team assciated were far hheavier then losi so they were good for wreaking, but not really as fast as a losi stock. Although if you modfied the chasie and stuff you would get better speeds due to the supperior stealth transmission at the time. ANyhow any info on handling and that woudl be much appreciated.

the b4 and the xxx cr are very evenly matched. the xxx seems to have an easier time on rougher tracks with a lot of jumps. but really either will work just fine. all down to equipment and driving. as far as which to get i would say whatever you can locally get parts for. and check out your local track to see what all of the fast guys are running.

thanx darth thats probly why im having a hardtime finding any differences between them. Unfortunetly most of the people up here are a bunch of noob gas hogs. Im going to have to drive to sacramento if I want to have any serrios racing, but this is primarilly to get a hobby goign with my wife. (gotta find something her and me both like lol. Cross your fingers for me, 7 years and we still dont have a common hobby together lol.) One more question if I may.

I am thinking about buying the DuraTrax Evader Pro EP BX w/ESC RTR for my wife to trash. Is it a half decent buggy? I'm sure its not as good as the b4, but for the price I wont scream when she blows it up first 10 times. Does the buggy perform half decent or is it jsut a piece of junk???
She irronically pointed it out to me in a magazine because she like the paint job ,but after reading some reviews on it its funny I have nto seen anyone complaining abotu it actually every review I read is someone shock at how well it performs. From the looks I swear they bought the jrx2 (if that was the name been years.) from losi.

Anyhow thanx for all the fast replies.

The duratrax wont be good for racing. If you really want to race then buy a losi or associated. For screwing around get whatever looks cool lol.

2wd or 4wd? 2WD is pretty much LOSI or AE. 4WD you get more choices, Yokomo MR4BX/Predator X10/Kyosho Lazer ZX5/ Losi XXX4, XX4, and Tamiya 501 coming 2007.

Im and a losi fan....But drive AE also. Both are great buggys and will probly buy a B4 so ill have both.Like said before. The B4 is better on flat smooth tracks, and the losi on jumps and rough stuff.

One thing though.Dont be so quik to call the CR better then the BK2.I know people who say they almost want their BK2 back.I have yet to drive but so I cant say for myself. But with that in mind you could pick a well taken care of .....racer owned .... BK2 for like 100-120 bucks in track ready condition. Now thats for a roller with probly some tires and spares.

Ill take a look at AE and let you know what i think, but from before when I was pro which was 7 years ago now!!! I was a big losi fan i hate TA and after I left abotu 3 years the b3 seem to be better and now seems the xxx has beaten the TA im more hten happy to become a losi guy again =). I'm actuallly excited to hear they are going strong, but ill check out some stuff online about AE as noway im goign be ablel test drive one first up in the hills here.

Well I recently went from the BK2 to the b4 and my only regret is I did'nt do it a year ago. I love the steering and how smooth the B4 is. I totaly dissagree I think the losi is better on smooth if anything.
