I just purchased a ctr rtr about tow weeks ago and can't be more satisfied. I have beat the **** out of it and not broke anything major yet ( this was straight out of the box, broken in, and wide open). However, I am in the process of replacing all the weak links. If you are thinking about upgrading much on the RTR, I would suggest to go ahead and get the pro kit and build yourself. But yep, the RTR is sure tuff straight out of the box.

I love my CRT rtr. Loved it in RTR form, and slowly upgraded as I wanted to get more serious about racing:

upgraded to full silver carbon fibre (including shock towers)
upgraded to digital servos (200oz steering, 175oz throttle/brake)
upgraded to futaba digital HRS receiver to work with my 3pk
crowd pleaser body
aluminum braces instead of ****ty plastic ones and the zbrace
XS400 engine with jp-2 pipe
and a few other little upgrades

All I need is a nice chassis and she'll be better than pro kit.

So if your on a budget but want something that is 100% capable of easilly scalable to a full blown race machine CRT for the win.

they're just stickers that come with the rtr.... you don't have to put them on
