Yeah, from personal experience, I know the machining on Tamiya's aluminum parts is qutie a bit better than those from others.. but of course, it shows up on the price.. so... (a pair of aluminum steering knuckles from Tamiya would be like $35.. while it is like less than $10 from those other brands..) I got my TLT knuckles and had to use my Dremel to grid out some material in order for the bearings to fit.. but oh well, what do you expect, you know!! Oh yeah, I think Tamiya makes some of the best shocks (TRF road shocks).. the DF-03 shocks are pretty much just the longer version of the TRF shocks.. same design... quote:
ORIGINAL: ThatsAnEvader! Man, remember when dinball had the whole aluminum conversion for only 40 bucks. So it was even cheaper a while back. I like the look of gpm's shocks over the tamiya ones, but I'm sure the quality is better on the tamiya units.
