Matt, do you have a mill at home? Or any kind of machining capability? (say, a lathe?)

Just wondering....

No, sorry. I have various tools(Makita) to do the job, but no lathe just yet. I am in an apartment too, running out of room.

I dunno...does Makita make a small lathe?

Now I know why you love your DI, boxer! Love the tires and they fit great. Best $24(including the shaft) I ever spent. Man I hate to c/a these tires, but I might have to

Ah.. trust me, you will want to glue the tires......

These tires are much softer and plyable than the RS tires.

Finally got all my remaining parts from HK.

Heatsink mount, gears and turnbuckles. I have to say that I did not enjoy assembling the turnbuckles....what a pain . It was worth it though I must confess.

Got all the Deans plugs soldered up and put her all back together.

Matt,

That looks awesome!! We need to run our DF-02 vs. DF-03 sometimes!!

Look at your front shocks, though.. I think the blue aluminum spacer (current can be seen on the shock shaft) should go under the lower shock collar... (so it kind of artificially compress the spring more slightly..)

Not sure if you know what I mean.. but basically, move the spring up, take the lower collar out, push the blue spacer down, then put the lower collar in again, on top of the spacer, release the spring...
