Could I ask what altitude you are there in AZ?
I am at 5000 foot in Colorado and am wondering if the EJF F-86 would work here with acceptable performance.

Thanks

Neil

2643 ft. / 805.6 m (surveyed at the Tucson International Airport)

Unlike ICDF and Turbine engines needing adjustments for air density, no changes are required for EDF power systems. Bob Ruff has flown in Colorado for many years and also fly's in the Phoenix area along with the San Diego area. Maybe he can speak to the flying differences.

That is good information. So if I wanted one of these F86's from EJF, what would be the best power package and battery package for good powerful flying at high altitute? I am less concerned about flight times than having a solid power reserve. I hope to build one in the Canadian Golden Hawks color scheme so their may be some paint weight (as little as I can get)

Fabio, you mentioned this was the original House of Balsa kit. Our version has been updaed with a foam wings and laser cut formers. We also have an ARF in the works. I mentioned an offer of the booklet but never heard back from you.

Did he misplace the booklet? if so that will need to be mailed since it's not digital unfortunately. e-mail me at robert@ejf.com with your mailing address and we will send it out.
