Remember what they say: "Once you go electric, you never will again".

Go electric, then go home. (cuz your battery is dead).

That is why you buy a second and or third battery pack. And an expensive charger.

Then re-new your AAA so you will have someone to jump start your car after you run the battery down.

By the way, CGRetired, What about your Bug, it is electric.

I also have an electric Cessna. It helped me get back into flying last year, and I plan on starting this year out with it also. It fly's slower than my Tower Trainer, and I don't mind crashing it as much. It is a good plane to build up addrenaline tollerance.

Yeah, the bug is electric. It only comes in electric. It uses a two cell LiPo. Cost is negligible, and I have two. So, I get two flights on it then fuel up my glow plane..

They use a CDROM motor. Pretty neat gadget.

Gentlemen,

Well, good things come to those who wait....I arrived at the field mid-day only to see a skyraider crash land as I was walking out to the pilot stations to say hello...... and here she is, my new SkyRaider wing!!!! It's even pink underneath just like my 2nd wing was before it imploded in the lake and my 2nd SkyRaider was rebuilt as "Son of SkyRaider, the Amphibeous" (using my 1st skyraider wing that survived a full throttle kiss with the tarmac)
So now after about 400-500 flights on that "packing taped" wing, I can retire it and use the new one!!!!! As you can see by the pictures...not a moment too soon!

Paparazzi credit goes to David Storer for the photos!!!! (Note the reverse angle shot.... sigh!!! .....MEN!!!....Can't live with em!!!...Can't shoot em!!!"

Bev the reverse angle shows just how tight the wings are supposed to be after the correct material is applied. Makes me want to feel of them to see if there might be some kind of structural malfunctions. From the pix everything seems to be exactly as it should be and better than most planes 1/2 the age of yours. The design is of that that only God could create and only a woman such as yourself could show the shape of what a wing should look like. I am sure your the envy of most men that have tried to build such. I am sure it took alot of time and effort for you to get it looking as it does. Keep up the good work we enjoy your posts and pics also. Maybe you could e-mail a better pic that shows your pride and joy a little better.
