I am looking at older kits to build, and kits that match the time frame of 70 to 80, I do like the Direct Connection Doddger's quality. But prefer the Skooter II because of its age and the fun I had with it years back.
Flite line, Lone Star Balsa may start kitting again. But I would like to find one a little sooner

Doddger has been traded / Found plans for Skooter

Thank's Dan Z.

I've been looking for a Skooter II for over a year. One guy e-mailed me and said he had an unopened kit he'd sell me,,, for $100. I passed. I had many of these back in the 80's. Both racing version and standard. I built some as high wing and some low wing. I keep waiting on Lone Star to start kitting them again. I put in a standing order two years ago for two kits.

Lone star models is still around. I used to work for Riley Wooten about 15 years ago and must have built about a dozen scooters. one of my favorite models. The scat cat is also a great flyer. Here is his web site:

Thanks for the link, I had contacted them twice in the last year.
They still are not kitting yet, and not sure when they will.

I found an RCU member who has plans and cuts cores at reasonable price,

Thank's; DanZ
