I finished the painting on the trailer yesterday and let them sit over night to dry. First thing this morning, I grabbed the camera but none of the pictures captured the color changing effects since it wasn''t "bright" enough. I will have to wait until it is all put together and then I can bring it outside in the sun light to try again. To describe it, it looks dark - almost black - from a distance. The dominant colors that flip are purple and a dark pine green. The gold & orange are almost absent unless the light hits it just right and even then it is very hard to see, so it is one of those "double take" colors that will play tricks on your mind If I ever go with color changing paint again, I will make sure that it is only 2 tone (2, 3 & 4 tone cost the same ) and have the colors go from one extreme to the other (gold to red / gold to green). The paint was still a bit tacky, so right now I have the doors & windows open (mainly to air out the house ) and will end up moving the panels so they are able to sit undisturbed for a couple of days to ensure they are totally dry before handling them again. Since I have limited room and this project is a big one, I think it is best to finish the trailer before moving on to the tractor. I found it hard enough to juggle instructions and parts from the trailer & motorized legs
