Status: offline 		Anyone ever have the gear that is attached to the motor break off? I was trying to start rs4 and all of sudden, the shaft stopped spinning. Does HPI cover this or am I SOL?

Status: offline 		Forgive me for not having the correct term, but are you sure it is the nut? I ask because just recently on my t15 it stopped turning over. When I tore the back off I found that the (here goes the incorrect term) "NUB" on the crank shaft had fallen out. The retainer ring around it had broken. Thus, I have a perfect engine that can't start because the "nub" is what connects with the roto start or the pull start.

Status: offline 		No i took the roto start apart and the gear on the electric motor broke off. I called HPI and a new rotostart is on the way.

Status: offline 		Sorry, I didn't follow you. I know exactly what you mean, I have gone through two. Luckily my LHS had one in stock. The shaft on the motor snapped and I had to replace the whole motor. It comes as a package with the gear already on the motor. I replaced that back in, oh say May, and I just did it again about 3 weeks ago. I went back to get another and he was out, but he did have the pull start for the t15 and I bought that. Then about 2 days later my OS 18tz showed up, so I have been lovin that thing. It to has a pull start, the os 18tz-xt anyway.
