Alright well i got the new OPS 67 and its huge! Anyways i am going to have to take out all the old stringers and wood inside the boat and make new ones. the old stringers were to close together and probably not strong enough for this power house. While i am doing that i was also going to mount the gas tank farther forward. I will try to post some pics later but my camera stinks.

No it will clear fine since i shaved off a tiny bit off the back edge of the rudders. Maybe at an extreme angle it might touch slightly but the rudder would never go that far over. Good question though. Still trying to find a good prop size though, any ideas? three blades are nice...

Did you already buy the shaft? If not, buy one with a stub shaft that's stepped down to 3/16". That gives you a wider selection of props. I think most props for the .60 size range would be for a 3/16" shaft. As far as prop sizes, you may have to do some experimentation to find the right size. Octura X457, X457/3, or x460 are a few possibilities. You may even be able to go larger, but it would require experimentation.

yea i already have the shaft... :-( what about the voodoo props i see on ebay a lot??i am leaning toward a three blade prop. What about getting a three blade octura prop for a 1/4 shaft and having it filed and sharpened down to a X457/3? But then again isnt it not so much about the size of the prop but rather the pitch?

All of the props I've seen from them on eBay have been too large for a .67 nitro engine. They appear to be targeting the gas crowd. I did take a look at their web site and they have some listed for electric and nitro, but they all are for 3/16" shafts.
