I love your "torn away Checker" covering! I think if you dont mind me running with that idea, I may have to apply a scheme like that to my next Extra 300 Profile! I'm impressed! I swear, I have no imagination for good covering jobs...

I love this Thread! Coulter

hey thats what seeing other peoples planes is all about. I probably borrowed alot of my ideas from something I've seen somewhere else. This is a GREAT thread for that stuff. I'd like to see it really get thick.. Heres my latest idea, got it from watching NASCAR this weekend....Gator

This thread is doing great, but I believe the record belongs to a thread in the ARF or RTF forum, "Aero-Works Edgo 540 .60/.90"
As of right now, 37,080 views, and 820 replies.

If you need a low skill test pilot then send that beautiful .60 to me I have an Enya .80 that would be right at home with that plane.

You know Billy, you can't imagine how many offers I get like yours. I have the wings ready to cover, as you can see from the previous pic. I am also designing a different set of wings for it that are triple tapered. Since the wings are removable, I am going to experiment with the two sets of wings to see whick I prefer and then kit it with the wing design of choice.
I recently got a MVVS 77 with a tuned pipe and header for it. I am also having custom carbon fiber landing gear being made for it. So far, with the aircraft 'boned-out' and a Saito 91 4C clamped in place, the Aeron-60 weighed out at 4-1/2 lbs (hadn't received the MVVS yet when weighed). Of course this did not include landing gear, servos, batt. pack. etc. I am hoping to bring the aircraft in under 6 lbs.
Should be pretty awesome at less than 6 lbs. with the MVVS 77 combo on it.
I was going to put the Saito 91 on it initially, then switch later to the MVVS 77, but I don't want to put a bunch of holes in the engine mounting rails. I am not a fan of 4Cs, but that is personal preference.
I hope that I will have it flying in the next three weeks or so.

I took your advice on the Knife and love. It is still pulling towards the canopy during knife edge but I'm working on it. My first kit will be one of yours. I tell everyone my Knife is the second best 3d plane out there. After memorizing your site I'm assuming your planes are the King Daddies of funfly profiles.

'Big Daddies'? I'm not sure that I would use that phrase. I try to design the ultimate in Fun Flys, because that is what I like. I enjoy people watching one of my aircraft fly performing manuvers that there is no name for.
Whether my Fun-Fly designs are the ultimate in Fun-Flys? You'll have to ask my customers.
