I don't think I have posted this. It is a Morris Gee Whiz Bee. I trimmed the edges off the wings. She came in at 4lbs 9ozs fully loaded and flies great. Looks like a hot rod on the tarmac rumbling along. A great plane and a freak on the flight line. Perfect!
PS - hovers, knife edges and does everything else well ... except sit on the ground during a stiff wind.

This is my Pen Knife. A tough little bird. I haven't really wrung her out yet but I think the TT 36 is going to make her rock. A fast build and fun as well.

Actually I used the plans for an edge for the stab and elevator, I thought the tip counter balance looked cool. It added about 20% more area.
Flew it today once for the first flight. It was flying great, then I noticed it getting sluggish. When I got closer, I saw the problem. My servos were hanging loose, still connected to the rudder and left aileron pushrods. I was able to land ok and upon inspection, the screws holding the hatch had split the hatch hold down blocks! I was lucky on this one. I normally mount the servos to rails and let them stick through the balsa hatch. On this one, I had mounted the servos directly to a ply hatch. I'm going to really beef up the mounting rails before I try it again.
Here's a picture of what it looked like when I landed it!
