I found that for me, bringing the plane in from the left or the right, like i'm going to settle in for a landing and keeping enough throttle on it to barely keep it moving, then just bring it down the runway toward me.. Then I get it about 10-15 feet infront of me and pitch it up.. and then just walk it toward me.. then settle into a hover right in front of me and there you go..

I don't know if you guys have "barriers" your not allowed to go past.. My field is a little different as far as all the rules, it's "fairly" laid back.. I love it..

The wing LE is straight. The trailing edge is tapered, as well as the ailerons. The wing thickness is constant along the length of the main spars and forward LE radius.

This is (or was) my own design plane.
I copied the wing of the uproar 60 and downsized it a little. The rest of the plane I just winged it. It flew great till I made a hesitation in flying one day and flew it straight into the ground at full speed. Not too much left of it.

Roy,

Your Question about Hitec Rednecks Laser 3D may not apply. If I'm not mistaken that is the Laser 3D parkflyer version powered by what I'm going to assume is a Speed 300 with a 4.5:1 gearbox, with an AUW of around 14 oz. Its about a 28-30" Span funfly that looks exactly like its bigger brother.

Hear is my unknown Gee Bee Profile. I call her the Duck because of her markings. Will take off in a body length, loops super tight, rolls almost axial, capable of anything and fits in the trunk of my 76 Eldo Caddy with the top down (and the wing attached). I want more of these things! I love it. The motor is a really old K&B Torpedo .40. Seems to be more than enough at half throttle. Weight is 4.3 lbs. Here is a side view:
