You really can't compare them yet because you don't know what the actual production car will be like. They say it will be close to the concept and have 2 v8's( most likely the ls2 rated at 400hp and the ls7 at 500+ hp.) The car will be less than half the price of a C6 so to compare them would be plain stupid.

Status: offline 		I don't know, I like the looks of the new Dodge Challenger better and I consider myself a Chevy man. One of my brothers has a Shelby Mustang on order, it should be in soon and he's unloading his 'Vette's (2 of them) and his Crossfire.

Status: offline 		I like the looks of the Cherger too. (not as good as the 1969 though!!!!) In my experiences, Dodge products are crap!!!!

Status: offline 		I had a `74 `Cuda but parts of it were crap. The carb was the worst, a Carter Thermo-Quad that got dumped for a 650 Holley.
I did buy another Mopar, a `79 LeBaron that ended up by being a piece of crap. Most of the Mopar products around those years had problems with door hinges. Open the door, it would fall off!
I've test-driven a few recnetly and would buy one. Bad trannies and stiff seats were the big complaints.
Even the Crossfire that my brother bought for his wife I wasn't impresssed with. Really hard to get in and out of and for a car that was almost all engine, it didn't seem to have any power.

The firebird is still dead as of right now, but there is always a little hope. Check out http://www.camaroz28.com for more info on the new camaro.

Status: offline 		Don't buy a Dodge!!!! We had a van made by them. The reason it was so cheap is because they replace metal componenets with plastic. Had so many engine problems on that thing.

Have a 1995 GMC Yukon now and has 150,000 miles and has always run strong. Some little problems with doors sagging, but no mechanical problems. We even put 1 ton of concrete mix in the back of it one time, it looked like a lowrider, but it still ran well.

My neighbor (he works for Ford and gets to test almost all the new vehicles before they are released) took me and my Dad for a ride in a 2006 Shelby Mustang GT500 and OMG was that thing fast. So that new Camaro better have alot under that hood if its gonna be any competition to the GT500 and the (Hopefully powerful) Challenger.
BTW my family drives Chrysler products (2006 Town&County Limited and a 2005 Dakota ST Quad Cab)and have not had any proble
