i think it's a good lookin car. styling is entirely subjective, and this car is love-it-or-hate-it.

I hate the 1st gen, love the 5th gen

ok a 426 makes like 420 hp at the most. This car comes stock with a 505 hp engine, weighs less, and has parts from a corvette, like the suspension tires, entire drivtrain, and tires. Like wise, it would beat a dodge viper in a quarter mile...

early 2nd gen i can live with as long as it's a split bumper. Gimme one with a Baldwin Motion hood, a 500 inch cadillac under that, and some Cragar S/S's then i'll sport my combover and cruise the high schools for chicks

Actually the camaro will likely come with ~400hp, if you get the LS7 option that will get you up to 500 ponies. I like the new camaro, the only complaint I have is I wish it would have more accurately followed the 1st generation. It does have a lot of similar body lines and some resemblance. My other complaint goes for all cars, there is entirely too much plastic on new cars I guess I am old school....

Yeah, but people are impossible to please. People complain that they "made the 05 mustang look too much like a 65", and they're complaining that the new one doesn't look enough like a 1st gen.

Personally, i'm glad it doesn't look like any other camaro

I'm all for the preservation of old iron, and love it, but by god i'd much rather have ANY car demolished in an accident so I can walk away rather than have the steering column jammed through my sternum.
