That must be a REALLY top heavy truck if you tipped it over at 15 M.P.H., unless it was on a grade or something.

Dodge has an EXTREMELY ugly van that a lot of people use for advertising. It's called the Sprinter.

Not just for advertising, and IMO it's the best van ever built. 28mpg on the interstate, with as much power as any of the V8 fullsize vans, and it's more maneuverable and will carry more stuff, which is why FedEx and UPS and DHL and other delivery companies use them.

It's actually a Mercedes-Benz in other countries, and also sold here as a Freightliner (as is the Unimog)

It looks like a frickin' private jet liner inside. The best van we ever had was a 90's Chevy Astro. We have a 28' Shasta trailer, and that thing would haul. Our Yukon has a TON of power though. 1995, 350 engine (I think), and our mechanic owned it and he did something to the exhaust.

guess I stirred the pot with the plastic cars comment........

I think I might actually buy one of the 09 camaro's when they come out, as long as I can stay under 38k. That's 3 years away, by then my 300M will be ready to get traded in. Oh the wait will be agonizing

Oooohhhh...now, dont go insultung coffee my freind. your liable to start a flame lol

Ford proton and the cadilac get my votes for bloody ugliest car created by a mortal. I HATE the cadilac and any other tank like cars that dont assume the mantle of technology and just idle over on waist and the concept of raping the planet for all its worth....Oh sheet, am I one of those starbucks hippies...NAH, of course not. BUT, they are the best car if you are on a date and you need to have a romp in the back seat...or the front seat for that matter.

This get my vote for sexiest car as well as the cleanest and modern concept: http://www.teslamotors.com/index.php?js_enabled=1

It has the potential to have some of the best lines and curves as well as out right fast and a nice combination of materials use for function. Any of you elec RC guys would know that the torque and power out put of an elec on a road situation would just kill a petrol motor. This things kills the lambo's for surprising states. I WANT ONE.

Have you guys seen the doco-movie called "Who killed the electric car"...?

I like the Tesla car; I've seen it in many posts now. Aside from getting an equivalent to 135MPG, 250mi range, and all the performance goodies, I wonder what it's maintenance costs are? How often do you have to replace the batts? do you have to cut the comm or is it as maintenance free as a brushless RC can motor? Should the motor have its bearings lubed periodically?
They claim a recommendation of 100000mi to change the batts (and say the batts can last as long as 125000mi). Was this number actually confirmed from a longterm road test? I know that NiCad batts suffer from memory effects. How does Li-Ion hold up against memory effects? Form their FAQs, I have the impression that LIi-ion is immune to memory effects.
