Is it possible for a newbie to start with T Rex? I can hover sideways and little forward flight with Raptor 30. Is it very sensitive to wind and is it very hard to fly it?

Status: offline 		the T-REX is a very stable electric heli it wont be as stable as the raptor, but if you can hover a raptor sideways and do some ff a rex should be an esy step into electric. check out these build videos. they are from Finless on helifreak. and with his help I built and flew my first rex about a month ago. without his videos i probably wouldnt have gotten off to sucha good start.

hrer are videos for building a T-rex 450 xl HDE. now its the same for the XL CDE and HDE except for servo placement

Status: offline 		I get 10 mins with a ThunderPower2100 and a apex 2200 11.1s 3cells....... Running 3400 Kv motors. and these are good batteries.

the cheap ones, probly 5 mins at most

Status: offline 		I have had as much as 12, minutes with a TP 2100, but normally it is 9 or 10.

If you can hover side in, you are a step above newbie.

Status: offline 		If you can comfortably handle the 30, the Trex will be OK. Would suggest starting with 335mm blades, but it's really a very stable, easy to fly bird. You're gonna love it.. I have a Sceadu 30, Trex450se, & Blade..Each has it's own personality. Considering the Trex600 toward the end of the year.
