I just a LMH 116. HAs norvel fixed the problem with the Vmax7. Or am i SOL???? All the thread with the engine complaints seem to be two-three years old. AN alotta people said it was just a bad batch of motors. Btw i live at sea level. Not sure if that helps tho.

Hi Xplayer,

I would wait and see how it goes for Lawrence, he's putting on a .12 car engine on his heli.
Once he's done and get it going, just go the same route as him.

Both V6 and V7 are just to much hassle. turning, tuning and no flying and once you get the V7 going... "KLING" !! in the middle of the air.
Maybe they got ridd of the con rod problem I don't know but I would not risk my RX, servos and Gyro.

I called LMH they todl me the VMAX7 problem has been fixed. An that the problem was solved bak in 04.

I agree with Peter the V max eng. are not worth it. A good .12 is a better way to go . I which LMH would convert.
