Status: offline 		hey all. I'm thinking of going to lipos in my 1:10 onroad car, but i don't know much about what packs are good and how capacity actually stacks up compared to nimh batts. I'm just looking for bashing lipo packs, but i want to have long long runtimes. would a 3000mah lipo pack last around as long as a 3000mah nimh pack? ive seen many packs on ebay, but I'm abit afraid of them since lipos still aren't too mainstream and i don't want to risk anything yet. ive also noticed a second plug on lipo packs, what are those for? if i wanted to switch over to lipos, would i have to get a new esc? right now i just have a... actually, let me check...i have a sonik sprint(it came with the car and i assume its pretty old). i know ill have to get a new charger too, but I'm less worried about that since ill pick up something like an ICE and just charge at 1C.
