Hi,

I am building the fuse mold for a 60" slope plane and want to get some feedback from the readers on appropriate AOA for the wing and angle of the stab.

Right now I have created a wing saddle that provides a 0 degree AOA (wing is parallel to a level fuselage). The stab is a symmetrical foild with 1 to 2 degress of negative incidence. (Points 1 to 2 degrees below parallel to fuse.)

This is intended to be an acrobatic, fast plane. Airfoil is an RG-15,
360 sq in, 26 oz target weight.

Thoughts?

None except if the wing is at 0 and the stab at -1 or -2 degrees and if the wing needs to be at anything other than 0 to fly level, say 1 or 2 degrees angle of attack, the fuselage will look like the tail end is drooping. It might look better in the air if the wing had the angle and the tail were set at 0. Even though it is aerobatic you will spend a lot of time upright. It all depends on what the fuse looks like.
