Is this the diff that comes stock in the mini-quake se?
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LR8397&P=DS

Also, i believe that the quake takes a standard sized servo. If this is the case would i be able to mount my hi-torque metal geared servo in?

Thanks very much

Finally how does it mount it? by the looks of things it needs servo tape or something?

Those are the stock front/rear differentials in the SE version, yes. Nice pieces.

A standard servo will drop right in, that is one of my favorite parts of the Mini Quake. I think a high torque metal gear servo is a little overkill, since a standard servo works really well. If you have one, sure, but otherwise a standard one will work great. Servo tape is right I believe. I haven't looked at mine for a while but I am 99% sure there isn't a mount there.

It needs mounting tape to attach the servo. You may have to clip the mounting brackets off the side of the servo to make it fit.

I agree a mg servo is overkill. I have the cheapie that comes with it, has worked fine for 2 years, even though the same servo didn't last two hours in my BX.
