Rusty,

I used a peiece of R/C Blimp Productions carbin balsa plate and some fiber glass cloth with goop glue to hold. It is very light

Here are some pics. I will post some with the cow on the plane tomorrow. I also cut the lowvers open on the cow to help keep it cool

Looks great, I like the job you did cutting the louvers open, what kind of tool did you use and how long did it take.

PS. I don't think the front end of you plane is going to give milk anytime soon. Push harder on the L.

I've done this before on my Russian brand R/C 32% Su-26...it was long and tedious with a dremel and diamond cutting bit.

I have not baffled my WH Su-26 yet or cut the louvers....I hope to not have to do either. Once the shootout is over I'll fine tune my Su-26

That looks great. Did you modify the bottom cowl attaching bolts so you can get access to them?

Mine isnearing completion:

BME 110
PT 28x10
2 5955 elevator
1 5955 pull pull rudder
4 5945 aiklerons
1 5475 throttle
1 645 choke
3 2600 fromeco
3 fromeco regulators
smart fly power expander

I read most of this thread and took in a lot. A few things I done a little different.

The tank is on a platform over the CG and Wing tube this makes the forward wing bolts a lot easier to get to. The throttle and choke servos are in the fuse sides in the upper triangle cut out just aft of the former in front of the wing tube. Rudder pull pull. Baffling is similiar to mbinkley but made with balsa. The standoff was just under 3" and Made frome dowells and wrapped in fiberglass. To get the CG on the tube the batteries are forward of where the tank would have been. I am not using a spinner.

The plane ended up at 26.8 pounds. I checked the weight after the 1st flight. WOW! I did not know what you all ment about throttle control!! This thing has sick power! and it is still rich. The BME is very solid , has a low idle and super smotthe.

I sould be able to fly it some more this week. I will keep you up on how it goes.

Mike
