I bought this used and I love it. Question: I'm having trouble with getting the correct size pins to pin the wings inside the fuselage. The ones I have now have are thick, however, they are cotter type pins that easily want to come out. I have plastic washers with a small rubber crommet that go on first. No problem with these. Are there any locking pins or other suggestions?

Hi Mike,

There is nothng wrong to use the cutter pins. If yours is damaged take it to Lowes or a local hardware store and pick new ones up. I'm not sure about the size, so I think your best bet is to take one with you.

Thank you,
Reza Gh.

I opted to try something different on mine, and use dual threaded adapters (threaded studs) instead of the supplied antirotation pins and assembly. Basically these are 'screws/bolts' with threads at both ends. I picked up four of these, threaded for wood at one end and 1/4-20 machine thread on the other. I epoxied the wood threaded end into the anti-rotation pin sockets, leaving plenty of the machine thread remaining to extend through the fuse. on the inside of the fuse I use a 1/4 inch O-ring and 1/4-20 nylon winnuts. They don't budge! Attached is a picture to give you an idea, this one is machine threaded on both sides. you can find the ones with wood threads and machine threads at any hardware store! Good luck!
