Hi,
I really need a radio for my cars cause i'm tired of the stock radios, and not being able to practice becuase I will get interferance.
I wanted to put a spectrum system in it. I wanted to use the spectrum pro version. It's suppose to have a better reaction time.
The radio I wanted to use it with is the jr xs3. Would that even be possible??
Is the regular spectrum system slow to recieve commands.
I've heard people say there is a second or so delay before the car actually recieves the command. Is that true??
Is the spectrum por version even out now??
Does anybody have it?
Sorry about all of the questions, but I really know nothing about any aftermarket radios.

Btw, I am going to get a 3pk soon, or a nomadio.....for christmas. But right now I wanted the xs3 and a spectrum system for racing reasons. And cause I don't have enough money for a nomadio or a 3pk.

How the heck could you use a Spektrum RX with a JR XS3?

It wasn't a crazy question, since many module based radios can be converted to Spektrum technology.

While Spektrum modules can be integrated into many radios, the JR XS3 is not module based, therefore you cannot use it with Spektrum technology. This was pulled from the link about 3/4 down the page:

. Thats fine just wanted to know. I'll probably get the Nomadio instead.
The new one, with none of the sensors. I wouldn't use telemetry, so thats why I don't care for it.....yet.
Nomadio_sales, are the sensors the telemetry?

The Sensors are for the Telemetry.
You still have receiver pack voltage, even without sensors.

I have seen the Nomadio Sensor barebones pack for around US$ 270, somewhere on the net

I wonder what the new and cheaper system they are working on will end up costing.....

Why Cheaper? Less expensive The Brown Box Nomadio radio deal on the market now $280 I have seen it as low as the $260s

The new radio will be about the same price as the Brown box deal

My vote would be fou you to get the Sensor, brown box while it's still out or the full blown Sensor. Its a 2.4Ghz system WITH telemetry (or the option to add teh telemetry accessories to the brown box special); not only is it 2.4Ghz, Sensor is designed from the ground up as a 2.4Ghz system. The DX3 & DX2 are based on existing FM radios with 2.4Ghz added to them (even though they say they too are designed from the ground up). I cannot remember the post or thread (I don't even remenber if I saw this post in RCU), but someone opened a DX3 and discovered that it was a JX XR3! Of courer, the 2.4Ghz stuff was added to the JR to make it 2.4Ghz.
