I actually just use a heat gun to remove CA'd parts. It works really well. Just heat it up and give it a twist. Repeat until it 'lets go', and the boom or tail just slides out. The plastic parts on the BCP and the carbon fiber can take a lot of heat without melting or deforming, so don't be afraid to heat it up as much as necessary. I wouldn't use a flame, such as a torch, though... Just hot air from a monokote heat gun or similar... Also, I use thick, slow cure CA. It doesn't wick into the parts as easily, but it is much easier to work with, and doesn't bond as instantly as the thin stuff. I just put a few tiny drops on the boom, then shove it in. Let it sit for about 1 hour or so, and it's locked in tight. Many people have different procedures for doing this sort of thing. Best to experiment, and find a procedure that works well for you. I use the Great Planes CA, or really any CA. I've never noticed any difference in the brands per-se...
