lol Its a sign. You were meant to buy another heli. I got an offer on my Futaba radio and a couple other things so tomorrow on Tuesday the guy is comin out to pick it up. Looks like Ill be getting that shiny new Spektrum radio later in the week Never know,I might even be able to pick up that bare bones MX400 this weekend.
So what heli do you think youre gonna buy with that newfound fortune ??

Well Ill have the radio by next weekend Im sure. As for the heli Im hoping to move a couple more items before I have the spare cash to blow. Even if I get the heli theres no way Itll be flying for at least a month though. Im really gonna research it and find just a nice setup for sport flying. I dont need a big badass engine etc cause I wont be doing 3D till spring at least. And since my CP will be beefed up soon Ill have that to keep me busy.

Does anyone have any experience with the Spektrum radio on helis?? My LHS guy said its a great radio. He says you can fly heli and planes with it but Id like to know just how compatable it really is. The thing I love the most is that it picks its own channels based on whats around it and those short antennas.I think the shorty would be amazing on a heli. It costs $240 for the radio here and it it runs both heli and plane thats an awesome deal considering I paid 260 for my futaba and it only does planes.

Hey Choppersrule did you add anything to your fleet yet?? Either Thursday or Friday Im going to pickup that Spektrum DX6 cuz I sold my Futaba the other night with some other plane stuff.
Sept 17 is my Bday and Friday Im driving to see my mom for a visit. Since she lives an hour and a half away I dont get there much so Im hoping Ill get some Bday cash while Im there too lol I think Ill put it toward that shiny new MX400. Im savin my pennies.

Wellll, today at lunch break from work, I had nothing to do, sooo, I went to my LHS. It's only a 15 minute drive from work. I told the guys that I may be a little late coming back.. They said, hey Dave, nooo problem.
Anyway, I looked around for a while, checking spare parts and any specialty tools that I may need.
I was walking slowly down one of my three favorite aisles. As I was strolling, and about mid-way down that aisle. This box, LEAPED, into my arms and said, Please, Dave, Buy Me..
And, as the gentleman I am, I politely said. Okey-Dokey box, not a problem....There went my $100 lotto winnings and a bunch more.. Well, not a bunch, bunch.
When you go see your mom, tell her the guys on the forum said, Hi. When you get there, give her a big hug and a kiss, and wait on her hand and foot, be really, really, nice. Maybe you'll get the extra pennies you need for your NEW heli.
I won't keep this one in the box,, IT'S UNDER THE TOWEL.

Well, it wasn't the big one I wanted earlier, say a Trex or MX. But it is number 7, for my heli count. I mentioned on another post, by this time next year, at this rate of buying I'll have 12 or 13 helis. WOW! But, I really don't think so.. A Rex or Mx for sure.
Post some pics of your STUFF.
Hope you get everything on schedule.
I haven't even taken it out of the box yet...So here's a picture of the box thingie.

Oh yes Ill post pics too lol Im hopin to get to the Hobbyshop tomorrow around lunch and my stuff will be ready. Their shipments come in Thursday morning and Im usually there drooling before the boxes are even cut open. I hope the radio will be there too but I dont think Itll arrive till Friday.
Hey maybe Ill bake my mom some cookies or knit her a sweater lol Everyone knows what I want for Bdays, Xmas, any time I do any carpentry work for family or friends they know I wont take money so they go and get me gift certificates at my fav hobby shop. No complaints here. lol

bad news, my stuff wont be comin in thursday, itll be friday. And just found out that some parts that i ordered for a differnt heli wont be comin in till monday.
