That cool, Im sure you will like it alot. I held the DX6 in my hand at the Horizon Hobby tent at the show today and it is very nice.

After talking with the Horizon peeps I know more about it and its technology. It is definitely state of the art.

Im not sure if Im gonna use it on my CP yet or not. I still have 2 park flyers that Ill use it on and Im hoping to get an MX400 for my Bday this month.(no motor or esc kit) Thats what I really wanna use it for. Of course Itll be a couple months till I get a motor and esc for the MX.

I have a cheap ol slow flyer that I put some gear in this morning so tomorrow if it doesnt rain Im gonna try fly it with the new Spektrum. It fits my hands real nice and I really like the short antenna.

The manual sure is big. Lots bigger than my old 6EXAP radio. And Im the kinda guy that likes to use things without reading lol Guess Ill have to at least browse through it 1st.

lol The only problem with the Spektrum Crash is that is has a 10 model memory. And well, why have only 7 models if it handles 10?? I smell either 3 more models or a divorce lol

Psikelly,

The 7 helis I said I had was an old man's typing error. I only have 6,LOL . That means I can buy a least 3 more before a divorce, lol. But the 10th one will have to be a dozy. I do plan on buy a shiny tx one day, just not sure when, as you know I already spent my lotto winnings.

Crash,

Your right, I do have CHOPPERITUS, but it's so fun.. I always take care of business first, then play, play, play with the helis.
Been married to the same great woman for 31 years, and she's so understanding. I'm REALLY lucky in all regards..

Psikelly,

Remember I got the BCPPro, well with every $100 purchase or combination there of, you get a coupon for $5 off your next $25 purchase. So, for the price of the Pro, I received 2, yes, 2 coupons . Hmmm, what do I need now, It'll probably be some magic heli tools that I have been wanting... See coupon,, they know me at Hobby Town USA.

Psikelly,

ROTF, the Norm thing and Cheers.. I'm the same at the hobby shop, but to add to that

I go to the public library all the time, I'm a data freak, I just have to learn stuff all the time, need data, want data, give me more data..
Kinda like that one movie with a robot, Number 5.

When I walk into the library all the librarians know me by name and always know I'll be checking out a lot of books.. They don't even charge me a late fee on overdue books.

Hope the rain stops for ya,

Dave / Choppersrule

Choppersrule <-----------------WOW it even says Choppersrule on your coupon!!!!!!! Awesome

I have a special treat for all my hovering brothers out there. You want to see a Turbine Heli? Well I am posting the pics of not one but TWO of the only Len Mount turbine heli's I have even seen in the USA. I think there are only 5 in the USA from what the pilots tell me. the pics are from the D.O.G.S airshow.

BTW They do 3D with the one that has flames on it!!!!

Dudes,

Here's a link a turbine heli. It's a big file and is around 5 minutes in duration, when downloaded.. It's kinda cool. Somewhat quiet, but you can tell it has the power.

Well I went to the hobby shop tonight to see what was new in the showcase and this poor little devil followed me home.
He had friends too. A DX6 RX, Align brushless 3550KV motor and 4 servos. Wont be ready to fly for a little while though cuz now I gotta save for a 35A catle creations esc and another G90 gyro so I dont have to rob the 1 from my CP Pro.
This is a real sweet lookin heli. Very well constructed and very strong looking. Cannt wait till its completed.
All RTF its gonna contain 3 Eflite S75 servos and 1 HS55 for the tail. Align 3550KV motor with 11tooth pinion, 35A Castle ESC. G90 gyro. Thunderpower 11V 2250mah batteries and the aluminum head and swash upgrade. And of course my Spektrum will be driving this badboy.
And if he gets real lonely I may have to order a Falcon to keep him company once its all built and flying.
