Status: offline 		Can anyone tell me if the recommended 8mm of elevator travel is enough?
The manual recommends 8mm for low and 60 something for high, thats a big difference!

Yes. it is enough. For precision flying you need little elevator. For 3D you need maximum.

Status: offline 		I didn't go by the manual, but I can tell you that my current setup on the elevator is 35 degrees up and down, with 65-75% expo. I started with more, but realized I did not need THAT much to do imac and 3d flying with this plane. To do both, it seems 35 degrees is needed. I set the expo at 65-75% so I can fly switchless. Let me know what works for you!
