I have an older OS 25SF, that has a very insensitive high speed needle. The end of the needle is very sharp and I was wondering if it would be wise to grind it down a little, so it is a little more blunt. When I go to adjust the HS, seems like it takes a half turn to get it running right, and just when I think it is good, it ends up being too lean. It's not like all my other motors where a slight click or two one way or the other is very noticeable.

Before you go cutting your high speed needle, open up your low speed needle about a quarter turn an see how your high speed needle does?

Making the needle blunt probably will not help. More muffler pressure and a higher tank will usually make the HS needle more sensitive.

Maybe there is some trash somewhere.
