Pronoun Da (Welsh) "good evening" - if you mean the switch on top of TX to left of antenna (diagram page 21 and 23) - NO. I thought this was for bomb drop etc. Thanks for tip. TaTa!!

i took the swift out yesterday a little to windy and wet the local park is too small really,

only flew for a few mins.

weather forcast says windy all week so i dont think i am going to get to fly it much for now

also what should be the max wind for flying the swift, in the manual it say 7mph for beginners but it going to be too windy here all week and i need to fly.

i bought it half and half with my brother he wanted a plane, first flight he crashed it full power in to the ground and every flight up yesterday it crashed, it can take a lot more punishment than the art-tech cessna tho.

which plane we on about agian i forgot, but for reversing the channels if a 4 channel plane there will be 4 switches on the bottom of the front on the transmitter and 3 switches if 3 channel etc...

when i first got my art tech they were all reversed so throttle down was to power motor, push down on elevator control and it went down etc... so i flicked the switches and that sorted them out.

I flew my Challanger and Swift yesterday, in 14 MPH winds gusting to 20. It was quite interesting. The winds were strong enough that at full power the plane hovered while climbing. The challenger was more stable in the hover position than the swift, but still the swift was decent, liked to tip to the side. The swift at full power moved foward really slowly, but it was very interesting pulling stunts. With the wind, in 10 seconds, the plane is 300 plus feet away, and took a minute to get back. My first time flying in strong winds. While landing was a tad differ, the Challenger I fly over half power and slowly droped down right beside my feet. The swift still isn't able to fly at that slow of a speed, so i had to land it a little faster fighting the wings tipping due to strong winds. Over all, every landing was beautiful, and exciting. Expecially if you try to do too many stunts in a row and powerdive the plane to ten feet above the ground before you pull out... my heart was beating.

Prop fixed and ready to fly tomorrow! Fiddled around with those 3 switches at bottom of TX and eureka - trim problem solved. Didn't buy sim but investd in flying wing - using the TX from swift and bits and bobs from ME262. Changing prop was a doddle and now have new flying site to try (tarmac for 60ft runway and then drop off to shale football (soccer!!!) pitches - Life does'nt get better than this.

Hey dudes,
Sorry I've been lagging in my updates, it was an exceptionally hard week of testing. 25 deg F with winds 10kts and above. I only got to fly my Swift
once during the week during a drop to 8 kts. It powered well against the wind but as you might imagine being so light any gust would change the flight path
considerably. I took her back to the hotel for the rest of the week. Check out usairnet.com, under one of the subcats (hanggliding maybe) you can input
your location state/city and get very accurate forcasted winds. I checked the forecasted against our calibrated wx sta and found really accurate results.
Never got to do my ground launch due to winds, shame I had a 300' x 50' CONCRETE runway to work off of. Abandoned AFB's are alot of fun. In addition
to AEAJR, I tend to fly with out the landing gear also, who needs the weight? Just belly er in!

Hi al! Mr Aeajr, you seem a fountain of kowledge - can you or ANYONE help a newbie? The swift motor stops after 10 seconds at full throttle and then can start again 2-5 seconds later with same result. Can't get thru to help line in States (are your call centres as bad as ours, and I work in one, international directory enquiries). Shop where I bought on-line said the ESC heating up but only made one pass before cut-out. Tried other 2 batteries but just the same. Batteries had been on trickle long time in house. No loose connections cos I strpped it all down. Manual says if battery not FULLY charged cut out occurs but enough power for controls. Where is the ESC , wot does swift one look like, it it on circuit board?? Someone/anyone please give me some ideas. Not sure if charger on right setting for standard battery and time needed (using 7-8 hours charge). Help!!!

Forget the support lines. Unless they have hired new people, they will only replace the Swift and you will be out postage.

I had the same problem mate. Do an internet search for ZX10 or look up Parkzones Spitfire Mk IIB Instruction Manual. The spitfire has the same radio with much better docs on the radio programming. I suspect the radio has defaulted to the Li Po battery higher voltage and thinks the battery is low voltage, thus cutting off the motor.

Let me know how this works. If needed, I'll E-mail you the manual.

Oh yeah,

Page 9 and always (always) ALWAYS! have the radio on first. Also, the radio must be turned off last.

I know the manual states the above, but it is very easy to get the sequence reversed. Believe me, I know from experience.

Take a video of your first flight and post it!

Good Luck!

tam popo,

Sorry for the delay in my response. Yes, it's a color coded cable, it's a small black connector with black, red, and white wires that head
