I was thinking about getting the Darth's Hughes 500D kit from helidirect. Does anyone here have any type of kit on there CP? I like the scale look but not sure how it will act with the added weight.

I like that airwolf kit they have. I dont think theres enough weight there to have any negative effect BUT the downwash of the rotors onto the tail boom part of the fuselage may cause it to react differently.
More surface area means the wind hitting it causes it to force the tail down more. Surface area of a CF boom compared to maybe a 2 inch wide fuselage boom.
Of course once you figure out the effect you could probably counteract it.
