Status: offline 		I bought a new hpi 18ss engine for my RS4 3 Evo RTR and would like to find out which of the two engine mounts that hpi offers will work on my car?

I have the 18ss engine in my rs4 3, its crazy fast. The engine mounts that came with the kit are your second link ( 20 mm Purple iodized item # lxclr3). These will work, but they also make the same mounts heat sink style, and recomend using these ( item # lxn377) $15 or so more, but will reduce heat!! Less heat more speed

Status: offline 		those heat sink mounts really are a waste of money, sure they take more heat outta it, but for $45 its really not worth it, and less heat doesnt mean more speed, just remember, your entire shassis is a slab of aluminum, i would rather go with solid mounts that transfer more heat to the chassis than heat sink mounts

your second link had the good mounts, kinda pricey but good
