Status: offline 		I would like to know if there is a way I can use a 11.1 or 7.4 volt lithium-polymer battery with a HP-100 brushed electric motor. The instructions on the motor say the operating voltage is 6.0 to 8.4. The airplane instructions say that the motor will not fly my plane with 7.2 volts and that it requires 8.4 volts. Do you think that this motor will fly my plane with a 7.4 volt lil-poly battery? If 7.4 volts is not enough voltage to fly my plane is there a way I can add a voltage dropping resistor to lower the voltage down to the motor from a 11.1 lil poly to 8.4 volts?
