Status: offline 		I purchased a white Yak and after talking to the dealer it was suggested that we could paint the Yak by spraying the correct paint. Researching the subject on the web it seems as though many have accomplished this process. It requires the sanding of the film and clean preparation to permit acceptance of the paint.

I purchased bright yellow from the dealer which he suggested would work on the Ultracoat film. This is a spray can of Ultracote yellow from Hanger 9. It suggests using Ultracoat paint primer. I could not find this item.

Upon returning to the store, and discussing this subject further, I was laughed at because I was going to paint the plane. Supposedly the paint will crack over time. Yada Yada Yada

The question is -- does the paint crack and look bad over time.

If anyone has had experience in this area with a QQ yak please let me know the results.
