About the same as a 9x6. 16.5K or so. Some are a little better, but not much.

Thanks again Chuck, I just got on OS on my LA Racer, I hope it'll "Cut the mustard", if not I have my 424 motor right here. I MIGHT try to fly it this weekend, but we'll have to wait and see.

I ran an OS FX in one race 2 years ago. Immediately went back to the TT Pro! Also ran a Rossi, a Norvel and an older Italian made ST 40 with the small muffler. None will match the TT Pro for ease of operation and RPM.

Eric - the acid test to see if you're "in the hunt" is to set two pylons 396 feet apart, idle your plane, start the watch when you punch the throttle, and fly 10 clean laps. You'd best be less than 1:30 to keep up with some of these guys!

Red headed Dave,

We do not have dates yet, but will be having races in Columbus, IN this year. Will be trying for one a month, unless some other clubs around here take it up (hint, hint).

I helped start the races in South Central Texas. Can come to your club and/or field with planes, equipment and info. Club 40 is now pretty standardized, although there are some differences being used around the country.

Be glad to come down. Your weather is probably a bit better than here.

Fear not, Eric,

You would seem to be able to keep with them after some practice, but there are a number of participants who still have a lap, or more, to go after the guy finished at 1:30.

Try 428 on a 400ft 2 pole course!!! Talk about setting your hair on fire!

Jason D. did it at our waco race and it was IMPRESSIVE!!!

We seem to be getting many more pilots interested in Q-25 around here. Looks like we might have a race "Down South" in the near future!
