Doug,
We are on the same side and I believe we are on the same page. I think I pretty clearly stated that I was talking about a "mistake" by a Novice pilot. NOT an intentional modification by an experienced racer.
Is this a "double standard"? I really don't think so. I consider it as giving an inexperienced pilot a break...something I think we would all do.
And I also said I would require the problem to be fixed before the next race.

Yes, your meaning was quite transparent.

Gunfighter

We certainly are on the same page. I understand your intent and agree with it.

It kinda falls back to avoiding what is happening with 428, 422. The wars over the up coming rules changes, some want them, some don't, NO ONE agrees on anything. Plus it would also come to a money event, the one who can afford the best wins. Shoot I just hope to afford the gas just to get to Kingsbury this weekend.

Well gunfighter,
I bought a la racer at 2nd chance today. Now I need a gs 40. There out of stock everywhere. If anyone has a good gs40 I could buy,
I sure could use one. I could get the tt40, but I want to run the novice class. I'm hoping someone in the san antonio, austin area might have one. Send a pm if anyone can help.

I went and bought a TT40 pro today. I've only raced one time in seguin. I guess I'll have to practice alot to keep up with the advanced class. BTW I'm a member of the old gessers club.

Mark, you have a full three weeks to practice before the next race, which will be at the Georgetown field. Go to our web site for a map and info. www.gamarc.org. Hope to see you there.

Thanks Bob. I talked to Chuck at the hobbyshop about Georgetown. I'm going to tear down my engine tomorrow and make sure its clean. I hope to have the break-in and the plane done by Sunday. I havent flown in about 8 months. Getting kinda excited.
BTW, Your club has a cool website.
