Hello. A while ago, I posted the "restoration" Of my 1982 honda NC50 express moped. I wanted to make my moped different, something that will turn heads. Well, after a month or so later, this the result.
I was searching on ebay and found some cheap airhorns. I got them, and installed them. I put the compressor and a gelcell 12volt 9 amp battery I pulled out of a jumpstarter into a modified fishing bag I attached to the mopeds luggage rack. Those worked out pretty well. It has a high pitch airhorn sound, 135 db. I think you would hear it.
After some random searching around antique stores, I came across some old boat horns. They were chrome painted, and it was peeling bad. So I repainted them in the same colors as the ped, which are also my towns colors(red and grey).
Now, when I press a big red button, they both blast at the same time. So far, the battery is lasting quite a long time, but I will recharge it soon.
I attached some pics(the last one was done on purpose, It makes me laugh soo hard, ha). I just wanted to show you guys my mechanical and electrical skills, if you can qualify these for it. I will also try to get a vid in of me using the stock and new horns.
Thanks for reading, Joe.

Horns don't make you too safe but you see a whole new way of driving whether you're on a Mo-Ped or a Harley. I learned quickly when I had my motorcycle that you have to watch out for every idiot on the road.

I know it doesn't make it keep someone from running over me, but it is just nice to know that I have something else than the stock duck call horn.
